(Draft at Muted Horn, Berlin, 17 July 2025) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Fruity, floral nose with elderflower, citrus and lemon peel. Fruity, tart taste with notes of citrus, elderflower, white bread, spruce needles, yeast and a mild floral/citric bitterness. Medium body, dry. Complex, tasty and quite interesting. Very nice.

On tap.
Pours a bright amber with moderate head.
Aromas of spruce, tart white grapes and sharp toasty malts. Flavors follow same with spruce leading but countered by the tart buggy grapes. Nice.

Pale, slight haze. Big spruce character, on palate and aroma. But especially the palate. The base is solid, off-dry saison. The unsubtle adjunct is fine, maybe a bit much but that’s spruce for you. Again, off-dry finish and good body.

On tap at Threefold. Pours blonde with a light haze and a white head. Spruce and buttery oak on the nose. Flavour has tons of spruce, some spicy saison yeast, some buttery oak. Pretty good, but not their best saison.

On tap at Threefold, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma reveals plenty of spruce tips, some rustic saison yeast in back, and light wood. Flavour is likewise dominated by the spruce tips, with a spicy saison yeast underpinning it, and a bone dry finish. Very sprucey and dry. Good stuff.
