Visited on a warm summer’s day 02.07.25. A nice restaurant/bar with 25 well-selected craft beers on tap at my visit. Seating indoor, in the yard and in the pedestrian street. Lots of tourists as myself at my visit. Friendly, smiling and attentative English-speaking service. Good food as well. Recommended! Their tap selection was excellent.

From Mixát, Budapest, on a warm summer’s evening 02.07.25. Cloudy orange straw colour. Persistent white head and lacing. Superb aroma and taste of fresh papaya, mandarins, Sevilla marmalde and pale malt. Full mouthfeel. Excellently balanced and very quffable!

From tap at Mixát, Budapest, on a warm summer’s day 02.06.25. Clear pale yellow with a hue of green. Some white head. Refreshing and clean aroma and taste of fresh cider apples, apple peel and perry. Crisp and dry mouthfeel. Quffable beyond control!

Visited on a warm summer’s day 01.07.25. At the Buda side of the chain bridge. A selection of Belgian beers on tap and an impressive menu of Belgian and Belgian style beers, but nothing particularly rare. The beers were abbey style rather than lambics. Indoor and outdoor searing. Friendly, English speaking service.

From bottle at Pater Marcus, Budapest, on a warm summer’s day 01.07.25. Dark brown. Head is quickly diminishing to nothing. Aroma and taste of sweet dark malt, prune porridge, and dark caramel. Also some bitterness.
