From bottle at Pater Marcus, Budapest, on a warm summer’s day 01.07.25. Dark brown. Head is quickly diminishing to nothing. Aroma and taste of sweet dark malt, prune porridge, and dark caramel. Also some bitterness.

Bottle at home. Pours deep copper with a surprisingly quickly disappearing offwhite head. Nose is dark malts, candi and esters, pretty sweet. Taste is stonefruits and dark malts, sugary sweetness and light esters, some booze. Closes with a sweet finish, has a ligh to medium body and soft carbonation.

Kicsi, azonnal elillanó hab, barna szín. Malátás, karamelles, gyümölcsös illat. Karamelles, malátás, kandiscukros, gyümölcsös ízek, némi alkoholos melegséggel. Testes, közepesen szénsavas, enyhén kesernyés. Kellemes, de nem éri el a belga quadoknak az összetettségét.

Bottled 330ml. -from Interspar Nagykanizsa, shared with Marko & Hrabren. Dark brown coloured, small to medium sized tan head that went away fast, raisins and caramel in the nose. Sweet malty, yeasty, caramel, raisins, dried fruits and notes of alcohol in the finish.

0.33 l bottle thanks to Ogi who brought it from Hungary. Dark amber to brown colour. Small off-white head. Aroma is heavy molasses, caramel, herbs. Hints of dark cherry and raisins. Alcohol here and there. Flavour is smooth and sweet molasses, caramel, dried fruit, dates, cherry, honey, some harsh alcohol notes, herbal finish. Not too sweet. Quite rich but not very complex. Finishes sweet, moderately lasting.

0.33l stubby courtesy of Ogivlado who shared it with Hrabren and me. Murky brown body, off-white head. Strongly yeasty, caramelly aroma, sweetish. Dry taste, caramelly, vague dried fruit, light spice, creamy, I mean, okay, bit peppery, but not enjoying it too much.

33cl bottle from City SPAR in Budapest, Hungary. Head is medium, tan, average retention. Colour is brown, clear. Aroma is malty, banana, apples, spicy, dark bread. Taste is full malty base, apples, spicy, caramel, alcohol, dried fruits, herbal, berries, decent bitterness, soft carbonation, not so complex yet ok for the style, enjoyed.

Magus, karamell, linnased, suhkur - lihtne quadi kohta, pole puuviljasust ja tegelikult humalat võiks nats olla.. positiivne, et pole pärmi räpasust, mis on crafti quadidel tavaline.
