2024 vintage from Appellation Wines.
Appearance - deep amber with steady but gentle carbonation.
Nose - soft bruised and baked apple. Some straw.
Taste - juicy apple tart, then fresh tart apple.
Palate - light to medium bodied, nice tangy, long finish.
Overall - good.

Appearance - deep brown but translucent.
Nose - dried fruit, maybe raisins or sultanas, then dried orange peel. Some cherry.
Taste - toffee, cherry and figs. Some desiccated coconut from the barrel at the very back end.
Palate - medium bodied, great acidity from the cherries, lightly boozy and persistent finish.
Overall - assume base is a strong ale. Great beer!

Appearance - opaque jet black. Thin beige head.
Nose - candied, burnt sugar and burnt wood.
Taste - burnt wood, saline undernote and subtle smoke.
Palate - medium bodied, creamy middle and dry, woody finish.
Overall - good, but will it develop further in the bottle?

Nose - earth, wood, light smoke and dark chocolate.
Taste - creamy chocolate, burnt toffee and a burnt wood undernote.
Palate - full bodied, roasty and sweet with a dry woody finish.
Overall - good.

Nose - roast and liquorice and a general Blackjack flavour.
Taste - rich toffee and cake, big dried orange note.
Palate - medium bodied, plus! Sweet and gently drying on the finish.

Taste - prunes and toffee with some chocolate cake in the back.
Palate - medium bodied, creamy middle and sweet generally.

Taste - mainly prune and raisin with some caramel or toffee.
Palate - medium bodied, good linger.
Overall - good, wondering how it will evolve in the can, may end up very complex.

Appearance - dark brown to black and cloudy. Thin beige head.
Nose - earthy, liquorice, chocolate breakfast cereal.
Taste - sweet chocolate, chocolate cereal and chocolate digestives.
Palate - light bodied and sweet, too thin for the style.
Overall - not on style, sorry, too weak for a Baltic Porter, more schwarbier.

Appearance - black with a thin fawn head.
Nose - smoke and dark malts, going into chocolate.
Taste - creamy chocolate and light roast. Burnt sugars.
Palate - decent body considering the low ABV. Decent linger.
Overall - good.
