bottle spilled over slightly when opened.
amber, beige, light brown head.
toasted malty and flowery aroma, flowers are sweet,
flavor is toasted malts, sweet flowery note, alc. and malty bitterness, most of all reminds me of a slightly spicy vienna. buttery feel to both beer and water treatment makes it somewhat less refreshing.

very very dark brown almost black pour, settles black. head is dark brown to begin with, but fizzles fast and goes a bit more light brown before disappearing after a few minutes. Quite typical BA head, but darker than usual, beer looks good.
Aroma is like chocolate cake. chocolate, dough, bit of sweet coconut, there are tons and tons of chocolate in the aroma.
flavor is chocolate, booze, sweet licorice, a really strange note that i can hardly place, it's a bit like marshmallows but more dough'y. almost asian in its presentation.
a bit unusual and the roasted malts are sort of drowned out by the chocolate and other stuff.

quite lively 10 seconds after opening, some beer came out volcano like, hazy red, no head after 10 sec. really nice fruit ale ish aroma of fresh red berries and slighly sour ale. flavor is definetly tart and sour with the red fruits still there but only part of the whole. also a lot of fruit stone bitterness. not alc. bitterness which i sometimes have found in US fruit ales.
very refreshing although the fruit stones make it a bit less refreshing.

pours dark brown settles nearly black but with a brown hue, light brown head.
Awesome strong roasted malty aroma with notes of licorice, wood, coffee, cognaq, sweet notes from the cognaq. this is an old school imp stout/porter not even remotely pastry, but so so so so nicely clean BA imp stoutish aroma. very near perfect.
flavor is licorice, roasted malts, wood, serious roasted malty bitterness into the end. sweetness from the cognaq, burnt/charred woody notes from the barrelling. might be a little bit too sweet overall but otherwise a big , big, ba cognaq imp stout/porter. it could be a tiny tad more roasted malty, that might even make it more balanced, but very good as is.

aroma reminds me of fresh fruit tart with raspberries and mixed berries. both tart fruits and some sweet notes present.
flavor is about the same, fresh tart sour berries and then a vanilla lacto like note to balance. mouthfeel is not watery.
overall you totally forget it is a low-alc 0.3% beer - pretty well done actually.

Hot and busy afternoon in july. By the water.
The views are really good.
The terrace itself could use some cleaning on the windows above. It has a wood-cottage-vibe, spiders and friends included.
I had a flight of their beers - all pretty good and with great water quality, soft and smooth, good flavor that seems to be targeting beer with food. absolutely on par with other brewpubs in copenhagen.
service was average to quick and friendly, even though they were quite busy.
we had the veg. pie and the veg. mushrooms-on toast - i liked both, esp.the pie, girfriend did not like either. The accompanying salad was nice too. Prices are fair for tivoli, not really more expensive than anything else hipster in copenhagen. we went back for the light-show and coffee, again good service and got a super nice table overlooking the lake, this time w/o booking.
Beware that ratings on other sites are mostly bad - even recent ones - but these two dishes were nice by my judgement. If you are in tivoli, it's a unique chance to get a flight and tick 4 from the brewery. their beers are way, way, way better now, than they were before mikkeller bought the place. The beers in a flight are 20cl each so ordering flight with food will work.
beware that tivoli entrance will be 170dkk each, and order a table if the high season.

Aroma is slightly yeasty flowery , slightly fruity.
Flavor is crisp, hoppy, yeasty , almost like a wheat beer or wit slightly flowery. Bit weird for a lager, but works well. Very good water treatment. Reminds me of the first hoppy belgian lager i ever had
