cloudy yellow, white head.
citrus and lemon aroma - mostly like a radler - quite fruity. no Belgian yeast that i can tell, but then blonde might not mean belgian blonde.
flavor is mild and alei'sh with malts being quite crisp and with a pilsener or lager like bitterness in the end. there is a citrus fruity note but it is very much subtle compared to the heavy citrussy notes in the aroma. in fact it mostly tastes like a mexican lager, only it feels like it has been made with a much, much higher attention to detail and quality.
i was confused by the name, but the end result is quite quenching and okay, you might find it flavor wise similar to a citrussy saison or a unusually well done mexican citrussy lager.

Hazy yeellow, smooth yellow head.
Aroma has a lot of pine, totally much pine, but in a smooth velvety way, not stingy. There is also oranges and citrus fruits in there, below the pine, as well as malts.
flavor is sweet malty in the best possible way, some citrus fruits, some grapefruity bitterness, a chalk like note, reminding me of these white-chalk with licorice inside candy, the beer is a bit too sweet for my liking, but that sweetness carries itself masterfully I must say, with a crisp malty end attenuated by some bitter hops of which i wish there were more.
One of the best sweet double ipa's i've had in a long while. the balance and roundedness is also outstanding

aroma of booze dark toffee, dark caramel, chocolate, coffee, i think a bit of herbal chili like notes, sweet herbs or vegetables.
flavor has a lot of coffee, smooth mellow rounded coffee, some coconut and vanilla, some roasted malts and a chocolate , roasted malts , coffee ending. there is a minute and tiny peppery chili bite in the flavor, but nothing much.

mild aroma of peat smoke, roasted malts, chocolate, wood, tobacco. velvety feel to the aroma, very well blended and balanced.
flavor is peat smoked malts, wood, faint licorice, roasted malts, harder roasted malts and coffee bitterness towards the end, some sweetness throughout. a lot of peat smoked whiskey in the flavor - but it tastes really good, the balance is picked up by lots of roasted malts and a bit of chocolate.

deep slighlty sweet fruity aroma of ripe old cherries and some more sour red berries. raspberries. dried dark fruity malty base, a bit of tempered funk and wild ale'ness, similar to rodenbach but smoother and queter. A lot of fruit in here.
Flavor is fruity sour and wild aleish sour, cherries, sour tart wild ale, not much salad dresing, it is more like cantillon sour, unsweeteened lambic sour, but then with a huge dose of sweeter cherries and other berries. also the sourness is, when i think of it, more US wild aleish, than it is cantillon lambic'ish. nevertheless a solid sour with very nice fruity notes yet still darn sour and tart - no weird flavors.

beautiful slightly mild but solid west coast ipa hoppy aroma, pine and grapefruit, some citrus.crisp dry malts, all attenuated by a faint but "nice touch" note of pineapple, mangoes and other exotic fruits. The exotics are very faint, and that is how i like them the most. Things often get too bittersweet with these sweet-fruity IPA's
flavor is almost drier and with less sweet exotic fruits than aroma. a lot of pine and grapefruit but mild, sessionable.
it's even gluten free, but that did not affect the flavor in a bad was as far as i can tell.

hazy red with a pink head. looks very nice actually.
aroma is white chocolate, dough, white cake cream and red berries.
flavor is quite sour and tart, a lot of red berries, some of them sweet, resembling red wine-gums, white chocolate, fainter dough and cake cream. the surness from the berries is intense and in itself fairly fresh berry like - the cake flavors make it all more like a cake with fruit experience than just the fresh fruits. Not cloying, quite refreshing.

aroma has lots of chocolate, cocoa, some sweet caramel, some toffee, some sweet malts.
flavor is malts, dried dark fruits, toffee, faint salty note, raisins, slightly roasted malts, toasted malts, malty bitterness into the end. quite complex barley wine style strong ale - the adjuncts work well, does not come off as artificial.

75cl bottle from kihoskh. corked and caged. opened fine with a pop and no spillover or unruly beer.
amber, smooth with bubbles beige head.
aroma is wood, sweet and sour notes, faint dried dark fruits, funk, leather, apricot, red-wine vinegar. so fairly complex, like rodenbach itself, perhaps a bit more woody.
flavor is so smooth and velvety, well blended sweet/sour beer with finer notes of dried dark fruits, sweet ripe fruits, wood, red-wine vinegar, sugar. very easy drinking, the vinegar taste sort of rounds off the beer. leaves your mouth very dry, it's like a very sour beer has been mixed with a sweet one, or have added sugar, so the super sour is still there, just a bit hidden.
If you feel like a salad-dressing tasting beer, then this is it! ..
Much more smooth and rounded and complex than the ordinary rodenbach.
