The first pint at the Strathmore beer festival. I have a thing about the temperature of the beer and clearly they had done their best so this an others were fine on that score. This is just a good APA enjoyed in the shade of of village pub with friends.

Been psyching myself up for this one, but after a long week and a hell of a day it was time. Monday is going to be a laugh in the office. Telling your boss you are taking over his job and he's out. Anyway, great pour and a super long lasting head. Taste and texture are all there, but doesn't have the expected kick considering the abv. Amazing to find an impi in the supermarket though.

Bottle at home from Morrisons. Long week and an all in day working from home in the heat. Followed by lots of taxi driving for daughter. Absolutely shattered. Anyway, this was very well chilled and slipped down. Not much going on but very thirst quenching. Its ok.

Bottle at home stolen from my mother's house. Well chilled and perfect after a really hot commute. The taste was all about farmyard flavoured bitter hops that scythed across the taste buds. This is my sort of beer.

Can bought from Copenhagen airport. This is a fruit smoothie that has fruit juice concentrate added. And I really dislike beers like this. Should have checked the can.

Pint at the station pub while waiting for my chauffeur. This is a straight down the line English blonde ale. Light and refreshing and easy to drink over a long session. Nothing spectacular but very drinkable.

I had this with my burger and chips tonight. Its was good with plenty of rich hops and some good balancing malt. But ever since I had Pliny the Elder I think all West Coast IPAs will struggle. Well worth a try.

3 pints of gravity cask in my local for the quiz night. This was so good. Loads of bitter malts and a whole lot of everything going on for a crazy low abv. Perfectly kept and perfect temperature. This was really good.
