I love those pubs which are close to transport hubs. This is the closest pub to Swindon train station. Quite barren, but that's how it should be. It's not that you come here and settle for hours. No no. Step in quick quaff and off you go. This is Swindon after all for God's sake.

Classic English pub just from across the street from spoons. Way more relaxed here, thou immigrants cursing old people have found their way here as well. Different selection of cask beer and cider.

Nice local vibe in here. Couple of regulars walked through just to have word or two with barman. Loved it.

Never seen so much England packed together in so short period and space. I mean local "drug-lords" in track suits boozing on cheapest lager at noon. Local wannabe teens coming in and paying their "respect" to them. Mom with 3 children, pushing cart, dragging another one, craving for the 1st pint of the day to ease the aching head from the last pint of the evening. Children of course, total brats, misbehaving beyond imagination. Shouting, yelling, strong language ahh what a nice parenting.
In the middle of this there are tables filled with old people, would be immobile if not thanks for modern equipment, electric wheelchairs, (flying broom)sticks and so on, cursing those damn immigrants coming to England to live on social healthcare.

Ohh I had high hopes for this place. Just around the corner from hostel I expected to do proper boozing here before hitting the pillow. What an utter disappointment. First: only 3 of their beers were available. Second: all of them were with either clear brewing flaws and/or gone sour. Third: staff didn't even blink an eye before selling or warning me about this. Fck this place.

This is sort of hidden gem in town. I expected bottle shop, but they had solid number of taps. Beer and cider. Easy going and relaxed vibe. Just what I needed before my next hurdle.

Couldn't quite understand is it pub or wannabe restaurant. Could be both, hybrid. Beers rather common and boring side.

This was strange place. Completely empty. I mean so empty that even staff wasn't here at first. After few minutes waiting someone appeared from somewhere and served me a beer. And left. Ok.
