Stovepipe can. Pours a translucent gold color with a small-ish white head that soon fades away. The aroma is strong with mixed citrus; I get grapefruit, mango, pineapple and lemons. The taste does not live up the foreshadowing of the aroma. Discernable flavors include pine resins and grapefruit. Flavors seem a bit washed out and light with only bitterness remaining. Palate is light and crisp. Finishes somewhat short with lingering bitter pine. Overall: Interesting.

12 oz can. Pours a copper/amber color with a largish off-white head that has fair retention. The aroma is medium in strength with some roasted grains, caramel and some peppery herb. The taste is mild roasted grains, breads, herbs and some caramel. Bitterness somewhat higher than I usually expect in a marzen. Palate is medium and crisp/ Finishes short with some lingering hoppiness. Overall: Decent Oktoberfest brew.

375ml bottle. Batch 2. Pours a honey gold color. The aroma is light with apple peel and some deftly applied spices that I cannot pick out positively. The taste is honey, apples, mild spices, and something tart. The palate is full an d coats the mouth well. Finishes long and semi-sweet/semi-tart. Overall: Decent mead, but the spices throw it off for me a bit, I would prefer I more pure apple.

375 Bottle. Batch 4. Pours an opaque reddish purple. Aroma is cherries, oak barrel and a trace of vanilla. The taste is tart cherries in the forefront with woodsy oak barrel, some whiskey and a trace of vanilla. The palate is full and coats the mouth well. Overall: Awesome Sauce!

375 bottle. Batch 2. Pours a murky amber color. The aroma is quite strong with honey and more honey. Very rich honey aroma. The taste, as in the aroma, honey, some light herbs, a bit of floral and rock candy. The palate is full and viscous. Finishes long with lingering rock candy and a bit of scotch. Overall: decent fer sure. But I'd prefer their sunflowers and Leatherwood.

pint can. pours a nice looking copper-amber color with a medium sized off-white head that soon dissipates. The aroma is mild with caramel malts and some grains. The taste is rather bready with rye, caramel, noble hops and some fruits (perhaps apples). The palate is clean and crisp. Finishes long and a bit astringent. Overall: Fair marzen, might buy again.

375 Bottle. Batch 2. Pours an opaque deep dark purple color. The aroma is strong with cherries and more cherries--very rich cherry flavor. The flavor, like the aroma, is a study in lutowka cherries with a nice bit of tannin complexity and a bit of tartness. The palate is full and coats the mouth well. Finishes absurdly long with lingering tart cherries. Overall: Awesome sauce. Paired will with an English Cheddar

pint can. Pours a gorgeous dark copper color with a huge off-white head that has good retention. The aroma is medium in strength with pine resins and some toffee. The taste was hops forward with somewhat harsh bitter pine, followed by caramel way in the background. The palate was smooth and even with prickly carbonation. Finished long and bitter. Overall: Decent, tasty, but more like homebrew that is over-hopped with magnum.
