Brewed with the finest organic malts and hops, our IPA features a bright-minted copper color and a crisp, yet smooth hop bitterness. Pale and crystal malts come through with a malty caramel sweetness, balanced with aggressively clean burst of fresh hop flavor in the middle palate without lingering bitter astringency. A strong floral and citrus character from generous dryhopping blends with strawberry esters from our house yeast strain for an inviting and satiating aroma.

Stovepipe can. Pours a translucent gold color with a small-ish white head that soon fades away. The aroma is strong with mixed citrus; I get grapefruit, mango, pineapple and lemons. The taste does not live up the foreshadowing of the aroma. Discernable flavors include pine resins and grapefruit. Flavors seem a bit washed out and light with only bitterness remaining. Palate is light and crisp. Finishes somewhat short with lingering bitter pine. Overall: Interesting.

Bottle from Total Wine. Medium amber with small foamy head. Malty aroma and taste, low key hops provide a small bitter bite, but nice caramel malts are what this brew us all about.

12 oz bottle purchased for pocket change. I always love trying these new IPA’s, that I throw a mixed 6 pack together at a bottle shop and leave spending less than 12 bucks. I feel like these guys disappeared from the shelves in Seattle for a short while, and just recently made a comeback. Maybe they just blended in. I don’t know, it seems like it’s a resurface. Golden copper clean pour with a ton of rocky foam head and lace. Aroma is malt forward, bran like cereal malts. Flavor has a similar cereal malt leading the line, with some orange like flavor hiding. Almost has an orange tea like bitterness to finish it off. Definitely a unique IPA here. Definitely malty, and has little memorable hop impressions. As an overall, this was pretty good.

12 oz bottle @ Real Food Daily, Pasadena. Hazy copper/amber color. Rocky almost white head, good lacing. Aroma’s: resinous, caramel, fruity. Flavor is moderate bitter, moderate sweet. Medium bodied. Long finish, light earthy, rather bitter. OK, perhaps a bit too long on the shelves?
