Exploring the wine and spirit world asside of this all. Allow me to explain a bit on how I score. These are based on personal enjoyment. Quality & 'in style' are part of that enjoyment, but won't totally make or break a drink, if I myself have a different opinion. Whiskey : Rated on the website 'whiskeybase' ( account Kraddell ) Wine : Rated on the App / Site 'Vivino' ( Account named Kraddel . ) <-- with the dot. Still searching a medium for other spirits, so those aren't online for now. If you know anything, let me know ;) For all mediums, the score is decided like this : 100 : Absolute perfection. Must have sampled it at least twice, and be mindblown twice. 90 - 100 : absolutely amazing. I'd like a drink like this anytime, even if it ain't the cheapest. 80-90 : Very damn good. It'll depend a bit more on the price - but this is probably one to seek out. 70-80 : better than average . Will likely enjoy again if it's priced compeditive. 70 : Average score for anything with alcohol . // 50 : The absolute middlepoint ( pure H2O ) Anything with alcohol beneath 50 is simply not worth drinking (seriously, concider your liver) // 05 : The absolute, final downpoint . Songs shall be written about how this attack to the tastebuds has started a rage within, killing inocent bystanders for no apparent reason - other than the fact my life is ruined by drinking this. On the other hand, it's kinda interesting to try something THIS bad, so you should probably seek it out ! As you can see, I use the FULL scale , and a rating of 70 by myself isn't bad at all !

Pours a hazy yellowblonde. Medium sized, stable white head. Scent is full, malty (white bread) , touch noble hops as well. Fairly restrained on the lager yeast profile. Taste is surprisingly bitter (modest, but surely more than expected) quickly to be overtaken by the maltyness. Fairly crisp, but the beer has got a certain 'heavy' feel to it as well. At times drinks a bit like a cross-over between sparkling water and beer, given to how easy this drinks (positive) or modest intensity it presents as a beer (negative) Medium body, medium high carbonation . Not overly expressive, not truly taking the drinker to unknown territory, but a fine summer drinkin' beer nevertheless.

Pours clear pale golden. Medium sized, very stable white head. Scent is restrained, lager yeast profile dominates. Taste is fresh, crisp, lager yeast profile and white bready malts. Mild biterness, and slightly sweet. Not overly outspoken, very replaceable and generic pilsner. Some DMS ( acceptable levels, but to the high side of acceptable) . decent, but nothing beyond that .

Pours a very cloudy / muddy pinkorange. Medium large to large , slightly pink but mostly white, stable head. Scent is typical pastry sour, coockie dough and fruit (strawberries, but they come across fairly generic red fruit) Lots of vanilla. Taste is sharp, tart, fairly refreshing, even - not as dominantly sweetened as feared. of course it ends off-dry, given all the additives, but it could be far, far worse. Medium high carbo. Again, coockie dough , generic red fruit and vanilla. Basebeer is obviously silent. OK, nothing bad to it (if you appreciate the style) , but nothing exceptional.

Pours black, tiny layer of tanned head. Scent is roasty, bourbon, vanilla. Not as chocolaty as other JWB's, maple is hidden. Taste is full, roasty, typical chocolatyness is definately present here, and how. Great vanila, maple definately noticeable. Thick, but not extremely so. low carbo. Everything you like in a JWB stout, with great barrel benefits, slightly lower in intensity. Lovely beer, as esxpected. A great JWB but not their top shelve stuff.
