Quality & 'in style' are part of that enjoyment, but won't totally make or break a drink, if I myself have a different opinion. Still searching a medium for other spirits, so those aren't online for now. If you know anything, let me know ;) For all mediums, the score is decided like this : 100 : Absolute perfection. Must have sampled it at least twice, and be mindblown twice. 90 - 100 : absolutely amazing. I'd like a drink like this anytime, even if it ain't the cheapest. 80-90 : Very damn good. It'll depend a bit more on the price - but this is probably one to seek out. 70-80 : better than average . Will likely enjoy again if it's priced compeditive. 70 : Average score for anything with alcohol . // 50 : The absolute middlepoint ( pure H2O ) Anything with alcohol beneath 50 is simply not worth drinking (seriously, concider your liver) // 05 : The absolute, final downpoint . Songs shall be written about how this attack to the tastebuds has started a rage within, killing inocent bystanders for no apparent reason - other than the fact my life is ruined by drinking this. On the other hand, it's kinda interesting to try something THIS bad, so you should probably seek it out ! As you can see, I use the FULL scale , and a rating of 70 by myself isn't bad at all !

Pours very foamy , bit unclear blonde. Foam fades medium slow, especially for the size. Scent is be yeast, bready malts, some spices but not at all dominant, and hard to pinpoint exactly what they are. Lemons are recognizable if known. Taste is sharp, slick acidity, lactic acid seemingly, some citric tartness and aroma as well. Spices are mild but not lost. Carbonation is (too) high. Feels a bit oily though its fairly dry tastewise. Bit of a weird beer, but that meets expectations after reading the description. It doesnt become off putting though, which is a thin line not to cross, but gistgeest handled it well. Still, wouldnt call this my favorite either. Perhaps it would be better with the food it's made for to be paired with ?

6y old anniversary beer, opened when 12 y old - aged in my own cellars since release.
Pours black, small tanned head fades fast. Scent is roasty, soy, dark choc. Taste is fairly smooth, roasty, intense , soy. Milder coffee. Some dark chocolate. Held up very well, though i remember it being better ( times and standards sure have changed since, though). Alcohol is quite rough early on but smoothens out in the aftertaste - which is the best part of this beer at this time. Copious bitterness from the roasted malts guide the coffee and roasty aroma's to a crescendo, leaving you grabbing back for another sip. Mouthfeel is fairly full - nothing compared with modern pastries obviously. Medium mild oxidation is noticeable, but than again, the beer is double as old as the brewery was when this was brewed....

Thnx to Tim
Pours clear blonde, very small white head. Scent is very mild PF , taste is sharp, bit bitter. Mild acidity over a sweet NA base . Does a fairly well job standing out. Mild on the fruits, and not particularly juicy though. Fairly thin even body. Medium to medium high carbo.

Pours clear yellowblonde. Fairly small , stable white head. Scent is mild, malty, sweet impression. Taste is surprisingly sharp, thin body. mild bitter. Malty finish. Very well hiding its NA style, not the most intense, but not the typically , either raw, sharply hopped, or maltsyrupy chewy syrupy and sticky body - this is like a wattery, less intense yet 'alcoholic' lager. Quite enjoyable for what it is !

Pours a clear, medium colored gold. Big white stable head. Scent is be yeast, relatively mild. Taste is sharp, strong yesst profile, medium bitter, sweet finish. A very 13-in-a-dozen beer and i would be far from surprised if this were a label beer. Nothing off, but surely boring and not giving any added value to the saturated market.

Pours clear blonde ( some sediment on the bottom) . Frothy, relatively fast fading white head. Scent is malty, quite simple and sweet impressions. More phenolic than it is estery. Taste is medium bitter, malts (syrup-like, but less sweet than anticipated). Quite mellow intensity. To the sweet side, touch of bitterness, but mostly just very modest. No real yeast characters are loud enough to perceive, appart from perhaps a touch of phenolic spicyness. Less '13 in a dozen' than expected, but still not very great. Too weak and not very specific . Decent enough to finish , not to buy again
