Classic Belgian cuisine set in a wonderful Art-Déco setting. I'd argue that the place itself is worth the visit but also for the throwback it gives at a time now long foregone of the real Brussels. Some of the houses along the side street are also a nice example of the style. Inside of the place is beautiful but once you go up in the bathroom it was clearly spotty and could have used a refresher and a cleaning - my mom always said if you want to know about a place's food and kitchen, you visit the toilets.
On the beer side, it offers the solid 'carte' you could fine in any well established Belgian brasserie. Good choice of gueuzes but also other well-known brands and some smaller breweries. Sadly, did not spot much in terms of pushing local Brussels breweries, not even a Cantillon - seems to some brasserie, Boon and Mort Subite are the 'be all end all' of gueuze world.
Food options were good but not mind-blowing, there is definitely better choices for Belgian food around Brussels. The menu itself is fairly limited for the Belgian choices, and what we received, while not bad, was a bit disappointing.
