A fresh pils sampled on draught at Wilhelm Hoeck 1892. A clear golden colour with a white head. The taste has pleasant note of hay and grass giving a gentle bitterness. Medium carbonation and mouthfeel. A nice, if inoffensive, pils.

Cask at JDW Mossy Well. Deep amber colour with a creamy white head. Taste has notes of toffee and dates with hints of grass and autumn leaves. Good mouthfeel and a long, fruity aftertaste. A nice ESB.

A pint from the cask with a clear, amber colour and a creamy white head. Flavour is unsubstantial with malty notes and a bit of toffee. Rather light and easy drinking. A bit too lightweight for my taste.

From the cask at JDW Mossy Well. Clear golden colour with a white head. Fresh tasting with notes of citrus and melon. A touch of fresh pink grapefruit as you would have at breakfast. Not much aroma and a medium to light body. A nice session beer.
