Bottle shared by SaltyGrog: Poured a dark brown almost black with a thin light brown head. Aroma is raspberry, chocolate, rich malts. Taste is chocolate raspberries candy with rich roasted malts. Very balanced and smooth.

Bottle: Poured a orange copper with a white ring head. Aroma is boosty, perfumed, hops. Taste is alcohol, burns, almost hoppy.

Bottle 2015: Poured a dark black with a light brown head. Aroma is rich roasted malts, chocolate. Taste is roasted malts, chocolate, tobacco, light fall off in the finish. Probably would have been better fresher.
