0.33 l bottle from 'Hetbiermoment.nl', best before March 2026. Hazy, deep ruby with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, off-white head. Sweetish, sourish, rather fruity and a bit vinous aroma of marzipan, cherry, chocolate, caramel, whisky, elderberry and some blackberry. Gently sweet, quite sour, rather fruity, a little vinous taste of caramel, marzipan, chocolate, balsamic vinegar, whisky, cherry, elderberry and blackberry, followed by a medium long, quite tart, a bit woody-dry finish. Medium body, slightly astringent and gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Decent brew, nicely fruity, matches very well with the sweet malts, could be a bit more outspoken.

0.44 l can from 'Rebelbeercans', best before September 2026. Minimally hazy, golden yellow with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, rather fruity-floral and a bit grassy aroma of gooseberry, lychee, some pineapple and a touch of fresh grass. Quite sweet, moderately bitter, rather fruity-floral and a bit grassy taste of grains, lychee, gooseberry, pineapple, some lemon and hints of fresh grass, followed by a short, moderately bitter, a bit dry finish. Almost medium-bodied, very smooth and gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft to average carbonation. Pleasant brew, a bit too sweet for the style maybe.

0.25 l can from 'Rebelbeercans', best before September 2034. Pitch black with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, brown head. Intensely sweetish-malty, quite roasty aroma dark chocolate, mocha, roasted hazelnut and some vanilla. Fairly sweet, malty, rather roasty-bitter and a little resiny taste of dark chocolate, mocha, licorice, roasted hazelnut, some vanilla and a touch of pine, followed by a long, fairly roasty-bitter finish. Full body, smooth and creamy mouthfeel, almost flat. Heavy and rich but still relatively balanced brew, quite saturating, absolutely delicious.

0.33 l bottle from 'Hetbiermoment.nl', bottled in November 2025. A little hazy, pale golden with a massive, foamy, almost stable, white head. Slightly sweetish, rather smoky aroma of grains, smoked ham and light lemon peel. Slightly sweetish, moderately bitter, rather smoky taste of grains, straw, smoked ham and hints of lemon peel, followed by a short, moderately bitter, gently dry finish. Thin to medium body, fairly effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Decent Grätzer, especially for such a low abv.

0.375 l bottle from 'Het Huis van de Geuze', best before May 2045. A little hazy, golden with a medium large, slightly fluffy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sourish, rather fruity, gently funky aroma of overripe lemon, horse blanket, oak, some leather and hints of vinegar. Quite sour, rather fruity, gently funky taste of overripe lemon, vinegar, horse blanket, oak and some apple, followed by a medium long, fairly tart, slightly woody-dry finish. Medium body, rather astringent and gently effervescent mouthfeel, lively carbonation. Solid Geuze, a bit too acidic for ky liking.

Gently sweet, moderately bitter, quite fruity-floral and slightly resiny taste of pineapple, passion fruit, gooseberry, some grapefruit and light pine, followed by a medium long, gently bitter, slightly dry finish. Medium body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Tasty lager.
