0.33 l bottle from 'Beyond Beer', best before August 2029. Hazy, golden orange with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, off-white head. Sweetish-malty, gently fruity-floral and quite funky aroma of orange peel, brett, old gooseberry, some barnyard and a bit of honey. Gently sweet, malty, moderately bitter, quite fruity-floral and rather funky taste of honey, orange, old gooseberry, hay, brett and some barnyard, followed by a short, moderately bitter, gently dry finish. Medium body, gently effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Quite nice, rather well-balanced, actually fairly tame for a 'wild' beer.

0.33 l bottle from 'DeBiersalon.nl', best before August 2025. Hazy, amber with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish-malty, slightly fruity-floral and minimally spicy aroma of grains, corn flakes, some lemon peel and hints of honey. Quite sweet, malty, moderately bitter, slightly dry, gently fruity-floral and a little spicy taste of corn flakes, grains, honey, some lemon peel and hints of coriander, followed by a short, moderately bitter, slightly dry finish. Almost medium-bodied, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Quite okay, not really Wit-like though.

Sweetish-malty, gently fruity aroma of strawberry jam, molasses and raisins. Quite sweet, malty, moderately bitter, gently fruity taste of molasses, raisins, some chocolate and a touch of strawberry jam, followed by a medium long, moderately bitter, slightly boozy finish. Medium to full body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Decent.

0.44 l can from 'Beyond Beer', best before March 2026. Black with a thin, frothy, almost stable, beige head. Sweetish-malty, gently roasty aroma of coffee, dark chocolate, burnt bread crust and some ash. Gently sweet, moderately bitter, malty, quite roasty, taste of burnt bread crust, coffee, dark chocolate, roasted hazelnut and light ash, followed by a short, gently roasty-bitter finish. Medium body, smooth and almost oily mouthfeel, flat. Solid.

Sweetish-malty, slightly roasty and a little artificial aroma of hazelnut, caramel, coconut, vanilla and chocolate. Fairly sweet, malty, moderately roasty-bitter, a little fruity taste of caramel, chocolate, hazelnut, vanilla, coconut and some raisins, followed by a short, moderately roasty-bitter, slightly dry finish. Medium to full body, smooth and slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Delicious.

0.75 l bottle from 'Het Huis van de Geuze', 2017 vintage, bottled in October 2023. Clear, golden orange with a medium large, slightly fluffy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sourish, gently fruity, quite funky aroma of overripe lemon, oak, white pepper, quite some horse blanket and leather. Hardly sweet, fairly woody-dry, gently sour, rather funky and quite fruity taste of overripe lemon, oak, horse blanket, yoghurt, hay, leather and light barnyard, followed by a medium long, gently tart, fairly woody-dry finish. Medium body, gently astringent and rather effervescent mouthfeel, lively carbonation. Quite rustic, but also fairly elegant Geuze, fantastically balanced, very complex. Outstanding!
