0.5 l bottle from local 'Trink & Spare', best before June 2025. Hazy, golden amber with a medium large, foamy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, gently yeasty-spicy, moderately fruity-floral aroma of grains, banana, clove and some pear. Quite sweet, malty, moderately bitter, gently yeasty-spicy and moderately fruity-floral taste of grains, banana, clove, some honey and a touch of pear, followed by a short, moderately bitter, a bit chalky finish. Medium to full body, smooth and gently effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Very decent Weizen, ticks off all the boxes.

0.33 l bottle from 'De Hoppenaar', best before July 2026. A little hazy, golden with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, gently fruity-floral, slightly yeasty-spicy aroma of pear, peach, some clove and traces of banana. Gently sweet, malty, moderately bitter, quite fruity-floral and moderately yeasty-spicy taste of pear, peach, grains, some banana and light clove, followed by a short, moderately bitter, slightly dry finish. Medium body, smooth and gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Pleasant, fruity Blond, very well-brewed.

Gently sweet, malty, moderately bitter, a bit fruity-floral taste of grains, straw, some vanilla and a touch of lemon peel, followed by a short, moderately bitter finish. Medium body, gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Solid Helles.
