The next beer might even be better. B.C."H." = British Cask "Head" - to be perceived as some disparate lonely looking bubbles, uncertain of their COยฒ content, and because of their scarcity, of undefinable colour. UFO's: Unspeakable Floating Obscenities MF: NO, that isn't it. That's mouthfeel, in civilized countries. I hereby solemny propose a law to be instated by all beergeeks, -amateurs, -lovers, -tasters, - enthusiasts that forthwith the use of the infernal spice, known as coriander, is forbidden for at least the five first years of brewing, and later only to be tolerated by explicit consent of minimum five different accredited beerorganisations. Infringements ought to be sanctioned by denouncement to the international beerpress and public drainpour of the offending brew.

Veiled straw-ochre beer with a small rim. Apples, Calvados, old wood, dried grains & kernels, fusels. Apples, curry (yes!), currypowder, applecurry. This is mindbending flavourprofile. There is a faint oxydation, in the best possible way. Finish has some Granny Smith. Medium bodied, but a tad empty feel. Not very carbonated. Original. And if I say 'applecurry', I MEAN applecurry! Txs to Stef!

The Royal Wedding Prince Charles & Lady Diana Spencer 29 July 1981 Ergo seriously aged. Small, but indeed a whitish head, slowly reduced to rim over clear orangey-amber beer. Oxyde, old bread, old nuts, fruitcake, biscuit, walnuts. Nutty, bready, hint of yeast and of course oxydation. Condensed milk, double cream with walnuts/walnutpeel. Tannines, liquorice. Medium bodied. Aftertaste is sweeter. Lost much of its carbonation. Amusing, and no, this is not a joke. We dug up this marvel from the cellar of Stef. No doubt it was better in its days (I tried it long ago, aged 6 years), but it still kept remarkably well.

Small pink head, stable, over hazy, pinkish terra cotta beer. Horseblanket, immortelles, farmyard, horsemanure, and a fruity/berry aroma that could well be blackcurrant. Vinous, red/pink fruit. Horseblanket, if quite less than in the nose. Mild fruitacids & lactic acid; fruityoghurt. Acidthinning and -burn, both quite mild; not lean. Good carbonation, long lasting flavours. Excellent fruitlambic.

Thick, darker pink head over fully hazy carmosine beer. Putteke , sweet fruit pulp, red fruit, sulphur. Sourish, fruitsour, mineral, mango, red berries, unripe banana. Well-bodied/fruit filled. Smooth texture despite good carbonation. Yet another beer that hangs between styles. Super Gose, maybe? Very nice, anyway.

Very good, rosy tinted dirty cream head over deep purple beer. Oud Bruin nose with old wood, red fruit (raspberry, cherry): bit of chocolate, pralines with raspberry ganache, faint 'pourriture noble'. Chocolate, dark lightly sour cherries, again this light decaying wood flaovur, red fruit liqueur. Faint almost-roast, smokey. Well-bodied, creamy (the oats). Very well-bodied. Very interesting, nice. I do not know why the 'stout' moniker - it's way more Oud Bruin than stout.

Pours thick, as a smoothie indeed, to muddy red beer, going over gradually into red-pink head. Straw- and raspberry explosion, intense, inviting. Not much else, however. Sourish, mild, but also a bit as salicylic acid. Fruitacids; again both raspberry and strawberry flavours. Thick, fruit-filled, chewy. Not very carbonated. Let's be clear - this is more smoothie than beer. But I like it all the same. Thanks to Joren!
