Very cool spot next to their restaurant. This is basically a to-go shop, but they also have stuff on tap that they offer generous free samples of. Beer quality was pretty solid, with some ambitious styles (BA barley wine, imperial stout, wild ales, etc.). Super friendly guy working the bar, only too happy to talk beer. Recommended if you're in Lugano or passing through like we were.

On tap at Officina, pours an opaque filthy orange with a small white head. Nose is full of passionfruit, espresso, and just strange earthiness. Flavour is jumbled and confused, with pithy tropical fruits and earthy coffee notes. A jumbled mess but not offensive. Decent.

330mL bottle, pours a clear pale golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma has herbaceous notes, light grass, and some straw. Flavour is clean, with bright herbaceous notes, grass, and straw. Crisp, clean, and has a nice, punchy, herbaceous hop finish. Good.

330mL bottle, pours a clear golden with a medium white head. Aroma reveals a perhaps lighter version of that classic spicy Chouffe yeast, with doughy malt and gentle hoppiness. Flavour is light, with spicy Belgian yeast and soft doughy malt. Finishes dry and floral. Clean and easy-drinking, but not particularly interesting or deep.

Flavour has a dry, nutty and bready malt character, with dry toffee, toasted nuts, and bready malt. Not super deep or complex but clean and reasonably constructed. Decent.

330mL bottle, pours a clear pale yellow with a medium white head. Aroma smells like a shitty industrial lager, with lots of skunk cabbage, not much else. Flavour is clean, with vegetal notes, straw, and biscuity malt. Rather skunky and industrial-like. Not good.
