Hard caramel, green tea, rye bread, peanut. Sweetish raisin, bitter peanuts & rye. Herbal hops, tea leaves, toast. Solid!

Hazy golden. Fried onion, sweaty feet, grapefruit, melon, grape. Sweetish melon, grape, bitter orange peel, biscuit. Bitter piney hops & grapefruit. Oily texture. Definitely only hazy appearance-wise, because this is not a NEIPA.

As "Amaris Laphroaig BA 2025", assuming this is the version they referred to. Lots of green apple (acetaldehyde), raisin, whisky. Sweet-sour green apple, pear. Whisky alcohol, where peat? Thin oily texture. Or they gave me the wrong version that I can't identify or something actually went wrong here. Disappointing, but I have another bottle at home for future reference.

Quince, prickly pear, green apple, lime, salt. Sour quince, green apple, plum, sourdough. Tart lime, quince, touch of salt. Fizzy carbonation. A pleasant surprise.

Marzipan, maraschino cherry, fruit jenever. Sour cherry & raspberry, almond & marzipan. Tart cherry pit. Not bad but it doesn't really resonate.
