Can from Hopduvel. Hazy black, thin, foamy, beige head. Aroma of dried fig, date, vanilla, praliné, fondant, sweet whisky, soy sauce, liquorice, almond, wood, varnish. Taste has sweetish fig & raisin in a dark-chocolatey malt body, complemented by herbal liquorice and umami soy. Herbal hoppy finish, touch of vanilla & wood, slightly roasted too but dominated by warming sweet whisky alcohol. Full body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Tasty, with a firm BA profile.

Can from J&B Craft Drinks. Hazy yellow, stable, foamy, white head. Aroma of lychee, tangerine, mango, peach candy, melon, shortbread, dough, white onion, vague thyme. Taste has sweet melon, tangerine & peach in a soft doughy & oaty malt body, bit herbal & dank. Floral & piney hops in the finish along with bitter citrus rind and juicy stone fruit. Alcohol remains hidden. Medium body, fluffy texture, soft carbonation. Excellent balance of flavours.

A: hazy black, stable, small, beige head.
A: pink grapefruit, fried mushroom, brambleberry, red onion.
T: sweetish dried fig, raisin, bitter grapefruit, herbs.
F: earthy hops, grapefruit peel, herbs & pine.
P: light body, slick texture, soft carbonation.
Almost a BIPA, but lighter - too light - in body.

A: clear golden, small, foamy, white head.
A: pine resin, sweat, cheese, grapefruit, biscuit, peanut.
T: sweetish apricot & mandarin, bitter grapefruit, biscuit, herbs.
F: bitter piney & resinous hops, grape & grapefruit.
P: medium body, slick texture, soft carbonation.
Juicy, balanced and refreshingly bitter.
