I don't really tick much nowadays. Still enjoy a decent beer just as much, along with the community that Ratebeer originally built. I've not moved to that popular app and never will - It's become a monopoly which is having too much influence on today's craft beer scene.

Found this one down the mini supermarket down the road from my hotel room in Abha. Enjoyed straight from the bottle as if was either that or a coffee cup. Not too bad this one, like a carbonated raspberry drink. A bit on the sweet side but not too far like some of these can be.

Got this one in Riyadh at Saudi’s one and only venue and it’s not even a Saudi tick. Ah well.. Sweet pineapple malt drink, too much on the sweet side.

At the hotel in Riyadh. Oh that’s just a lot of sweet artificial peach with a little malt.

In the hotel at Riyadh. So yeah, it’s green. I didn’t expect that. Smells like apple, cheesy malt and candy. Stunning.

Bottle at the hotel in Riyadh, from a shop around the corner. The mint is actually pretty good. Lemon there behind and really light malt. A lot better than I expected.

What’s a guy to do when he’s in the area and passes by Saudi’s very first and only Brewver venue? Pop in of course! I can confirm that it still exists, and is still well stocked with Saudi NA ticks. You’ll find them in a fridge section as pictured. I should have bought a bigger bag then I could have had a proper depressing evening back in the hotel room!
