I don't really tick much nowadays. Still enjoy a decent beer just as much, along with the community that Ratebeer originally built.

I've not moved to that popular app and never will - It's become a monopoly which is having too much influence on today's craft beer scene.

Draft from flight at the source. Clear golden standard lager appearance. Crisp, very lightly floral. Decent and fresh. I could easily drink a pint of this. And may well do so later.

Bottle at Kenzi Bar, Flic en Flac, Mauritius. Straight from the bottle. It seems the way they do things here at this bar, even though they have a pretty decent local craft selection. It’s malty, wort, light floral hops. Not great. I hoped for more.

Bottle enjoyed without a glass at Kenzi Bar, Flic en Flac. I imagine it’s clear golden etc etc. just a plain lager really, nothing bad. TBH I’m enjoying it more than the bad local IPA.

Bottle at a bar in Flic en Flak, Mauritius. For a start it’s better than the IPA. Not great, but better. Definitely very malty with a subdued hop character.
