330 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 16.0%, IBU 50. Hazy brown colour, minimal and shortlived off-white head. Boozy aroma of oak, brandy, raw alcohol, over-ripe fruits, dark dried fruits, pipe tobacco. The flavour is better, and has notes of armagnac and cognac, oak and dark dried fruits, a hint of tobacco.

On tap at Cardinal, Stavanger. Black colour, small beige head. Aroma of moderately roasted malts, grain and sea air, hints of thin coffee and chocolate. Flavour of roast malts, coffee and chocolate, not too sweet. No sign of the mussels. Moderate bittering hops in the finish.

440 ml can, as Verdant ESNW (Even Sharks Need Water) IPA, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 6.5%. Hops are Citra and Galaxy. Opaque yellow colour, large to moderate white head. Aroma of citrus, yellow stonefruits and tropical fruits. The flavour is piney, also notes of said fruits. Medium bitter finish.

330 ml can, from Vinmonopolet Sandnes Kvadrat. ABV is 5.5%. Dark brown colour, nearly black. Small off-white head. Aroma of grain, dust and thin coffee, a hint of chocolate. The flavour is not too sweet, notes of lightly roasted malts, hints of prunes, thin coffee and chocolate. .
