440 ml can, as Monkey Brew Jesus 2025 Double Bock. ABV is 9.4%. From Vinmonopolet Stavanger Tasta. Dark brown colour, nearly black. Moderate beige head. Aroma of brown malts and brown bread, a hint of caramel and nuts. Fairly sweet flavour with the same elements, more distinct caramel now.

440 ml can, vintage 2025, from Vinmonopolet Jørpeland. ABV is 7.5%. Hazy yellow colour, large to moderate white head. Aroma and flavour of citrus, mango and various tropical fruits, also notes of pine and spruce. Moderate bitterness. Good beer.

On tap at Cardinal, Stavanger, as Polly's Toolbox Hoppy Red Ale. Hazy reddish brown colour, moderate off-white head. A touch of butterscotch in aroma and flavour, with a decent balance between malts and hops, not too sweet, good bitterness.

Dock Side from Brix Brygghus

On tap at Cardinal, Stavanger, as Brix Dock Side Imperial Porter. ABV is 10%. Black colour, small tan head. Aroma of caramel and roast malt. The flavour is not as sweet as the aroma made me fear, it is actually well balanced, with roast notes, caramel, rum, oak and chocolate.

On tap at Cardinal, Stavanger. ABV is 7.5%. Hazy / opaque pale yellow colour, large to moderate white head. The aroma and flavour are dominated by citrus, hints of tropical fruits, not too sweet, some bitterness. Relatively light bodied for its strength.
