Scopey Profile - Brewver

Keg at MSBH 2026. It pours jet black with a thick, dense khaki head. The aroma is rich roasted malt, nutty, charred wood, pipe tobacco, bonfire, muted barnyard, cacao nibs and ash. The taste is crisp, dry, charred, burnt toast, umami, dark chocolate, cacao nibs, umami, liquorice, washed process coffee and mild acidity with a drying finish. Medium body and moderate, velvety finish. Robust and charred. Very nice.

Keg at MSBH 2026. It pours clear golden - blonde with a small, bubbly white head. The aroma is sweet, sappy, sticky, pine, resin, green, hop sack and some citrus marmalade. The taste is crisp, firmly dry, very bitter, resin, sappy, pine needles, grapefruit, lemon rind, peppery spice and waxy peel with a lingering bitter - dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Very nice.

Cask at Marine Hotel. It pours clear amber with a thick, fluffy white head. The aroma is woody, nutty, sappy, cereal, pine, resin, biscuit, brown bread, touch of citrus and orange marmalade. The taste is firmly dry, pleasing bitterness, toasty grains, cereal, nuttiness, woody, piney, sappy, resin, tannin and bitter citrus peel with a drying finale. Medium body and soft carbonation. Interesting and quaffable. I like it a lot

Cask at the Marine Hotel. It pours lightly hazy blonde with a thick, fluffy white head. The aroma is soft, sweet orchard fruits, apricot, peach, bready malts, digestive biscuit, twist of citrus, lemon - lime, zingy and zesty. The taste is crisp, dry, snappy, toasty grains, pleasing bitterness, pithy, zesty, snappy biscuit, lemon - lime, touch of orchard fruits and grass with a drying finish. Lighter end of body and moderate, fluffy carbonation. Easy going stuff.
