0.5 l can shared with Marko. Dark brown, small brownish head. Intense coffee, chocolate, charred wood, toasty malts and some green pepper. Thick, sticky, sweet, chocolate flavour, roasty, nutty, some coffee in the finish. Alcohol hidden. A bit sweet, smooth, cloying, not too heavy. Finishes sweet.

0.5 l can from Ambasada, Zagreb, shared with Marko. Hazy orange, small off-white head. Moderately hoppy, resinous, herbal, danky. Pines, herbs and some malts. Smooth, medium body, slightly creamy, sweet with a tart hint. Flavour is fruity, sweet stone fruit, malts, resin and bitter herbs. Low bitterness, finishes dry.

0.5 l can shared with Ogi and Marko. Unclear, yellow to orange, minimal head. Aroma is lemon and ginger candy, literally. Quite intense ginger. Mild tartness, moderate sweetness. Ginger candy flavour. No complexity, quite refreshing. Dry finish.

0.33 l bottle shared with Ogi and Marko. Dark reddish brown, small beige head. Aroma is alcohol at first, roasty, moderately peaty, soft molasses, prunes, oak. Smooth, medium body, oaky, smokey, mineral, molasses in the flavour. Good balance, not too sweet, warming, strong, not too heavy or cloying. Dry finish.

0.33 l bottle shared with Ogi and Marko. Dark brown, small beige head. Intense alcohol, oak, caramel, molasses, soft bourbon notes. Hints of lacquer, roasted malts, licorice, smoke and leather. Medium body, slick, oily, flavour is oaky, sweet molasses and malts, dried fruit, prunes. Warming, still quite drinkable. Finishes dry with hints of oak and bourbon.

0.33 l bottle from Sir William's Pun, Ljubljana, shared with Ogi and Marko. Dark brown, reddish hue, minimal to small beige head. Aroma is intense licorice, molasses, burnt plastic, alcohol, also harsh burnt plastic. Dried fruit, prunes, raisins. Medium body, lots of dried fruit, raisins, dried pear, molasses, brown bread, hints of Jaffa cake. Soft carbonation and texture, finishes dry with some dried fruit lingering.

As Perlenbacher Lager, 5.2% ABV. Shared with Ogi and Marko. Clear golden, small off-white head. Aroma is lightly bready, soft touch of corn and butter. Slightly more cooked corn showing up. Smooth, light body, flavour is corn, honey, malts but some bitterness showing up. Dry abrupt finish.

Aroma is lightly hoppy, herbal, zesty, very lightly malty. Light, moderate carbonation, light bitterness. Flavour is lightly fruity, citrus, some apricot, dry bitter finish.
