Draft at the source. Crystal clear very pale yellow with bubbles. Big ginger aroma. Taste is earthy spiced apple flesh, fairly sweet but nit overly so

Tap at Which Craft. Nose of apple, skin, ginger. Pale, clear yellow, almost flat. Flavor is apple juice and ginger, a tasty, balanced blend, not complex and a bit sweet. Nice drinking but not all that much like a craft cider, more like a cocktail. Little fermentation character.

Tall boy from Whole Foods Bowery. Mason jar pour. Clear, pale, bubbly, ginger ale-colored brew. Smells like Canada Dry. Sweet, syrupy soda with just a little bit more fresh ginger then the 2 liter variant. Sizzling, not quite thin. Basically, ginger ale. Sugar, light bit of fresh ginger, faintly tannic finish. Apples are lost for me. That’s it.

Draught at Area Four, 2/24/16.
A lightly hazy (chill haze), very light golden color shows plentiful carbonation.
Golden apple-like fruitiness in the nose is quite enjoyable, as no alcohol makes an appearance, nor any candy-sweet character. Don’t get the ginger much in the nose, which is fine, rather a fresh yeast and more spicy phenols and light apple pie.
The ginger is rather prevalent in the flavor, however, but very enjoyably so, mixing with the apple character and remaining authentic and though the beer is on the sweeter side, it’s never cloying. Brisk carbonation helps and there’s just a hint of tartness from the apples. Feels like there’s an herbal character here, as well, even though there isn’t. Very cocktail-like. I guess it could still be a touch more dry, but it’s surprisingly nice, if you like ginger, which I really do.

Keg at CC. It pours clear very pale gold with no head. The nose is fiery ginger, sweet ripe apple, appletizer and lemon peel. The taste is crisp, earthy, spicy ginger, sweet apple, quite warming, some alcohol boost, apple pie and lemon with a spicy finish. Medium body and moderate, yet fine carbonation. decent balance. Not bad.

A golden cider with aroma of tart apples, light Brett, light chalky notes. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity apple with light pepper notes, smooth grassy notes, light tartness, pleasant. Bottle at Vermont Cheese Fest 2015.

On tap at Hinesburg public house.
This was poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a glossy yellow color with light carbonation rising.
The smell started off with fresh botanicals leading into the apples, and coming across like fresh green apples.
The taste takes the fresh green apples and combines with the botanicals to impart a sweet yet fresh grassiness smoothing into the aftertaste and finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a clean yet oily sessionable aspect to it. Carbonation felt right for a cider.
Overall, I’m not always a cider drinker, but when I do....fill in the rest.

Draft at Citizen Cider, 7/5/15
Ginger completely overtakes everything else on the nose. The apple and lemon bake it out a bit in the flavor, but it is still mostly all ginger. Finishes a little dry. Not my favorite.

16 oz. can. Pale, clearer gold color. Aroma is a heart amount of ginger root, very light trace of Apple.
The body is light and crisp like most ciders are. The ginger root is the most dominant flavor with it lingering in the finish. The Apple is more of a after thought. No question if this cider has ginger, It is really hard to find the lemon when it cold but it does show at a warmer temp.
