A hop forward lager that manages the complex task of highlighting the citrus and floral aromas of hops while
respecting the depth of flavor provided by malts. Our India Pale lager displays our Vermont roots with a vibrant
grapefruit peel on the nose, and finishes crisp and clean.

Enjoyed on my trip at the brewery Easter 2017. Pours a slightly hazed, light golden colour with an off-white head, good retention and lacing. Citrus aromas with light grass. The taste has grassy hops and mild citrus. Nicely dry mouthfeel, but does not linger excessively. Feels like a good IPA, but being a lager, is slightly softer, less aggressive on the hop side.

Can: Poured a light yellow color lager with a large pure white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of floral hops notes with light cereal notes is quiet pleasant. Taste is also a good mix of floral hops notes with light bitterness notes and some clean cereal notes with hints of residual sugar notes. Body is about average with good carbonation. Very smooth to drink with just enough hops to provide some flavours.

Pours hazy gold into a shaker. Bright white head with good retention recedes leaving soapy lacing. Bread and citrus aromas. Medium bodied with sweet hot bready yeast and sharp pith front to back. Lasting sour pith finish.

On tap at von Trapp taproom. Pours out golden topped with a white head. Nose is nice crisp floral hops cereal malts and some spice. Taste is more of the floral hops and nice malt balance. This was the best offering they had on tap.

Can at home in London - picked up in Waterbury. Pours clear gold, effervescent, with a billowing, frothy white head. Crispy biscuits and pale grains in the nose, some citrus peel. Light sweet flavour, fairly dry, with more pale biscuits, lemon peel, moderate grassy bitterness. Light bodied with lively carbonation. Clean finish, crisp and drying, with more biscuity sugars, dry hay, crispy cereal grains, more lemon peel and grass. Great stuff. Really drinkable.
