16 oz. Can. Aroma of chocolate, weak coffee, caramel. Flavor follows with a smooth velvety texture. Good body for the gravity. Not overly sweet. A classic, straightforward Milk Stout.

Can from my friends visiting in Vermont. Dark brown colour with a light hazed, copper-amber highlights. The head is huge, creamy, beige coloured and lots of foamy-creamy lacing. Roasted malt aromas with cacao notes and some vanilla, lactose. The mouthfeel is smooth with decent dryness in the end. Flavours of burnt barley, coffee, chocolate, vanilla and lactose creaminess. A nice sweet stout with coffee, lactose and cacao nibs.

Can from the Packie Inky black with a frothy tan head that persists. Creamed coffee with hints of chocolate and caramel and a solid earthy hop to counter. Really nice brew!

Draught @ Rattle'n'Hum. Dark brown with reddish tint against the light, large creamy beige head, mocha aroma, low carbonation, sweetish mocha taste, smooth thin body, long finish. Smooth but a bit thin.

On nitro at the Vermont NanoFest as "Bust a Moove", pours a thick, milky mocha brown with some sticky caramel head. Nose starts with lots of bread and bread crust, caramel, some kitschy coffee. Flavor is solid, malt, molasses, bread, caramel, coffee, chocolate, grain. A little dark pretzel character. Any lacto helps to smooth things out.

This was poured into a nonic.
The appearance was a glossy black color with a three finger off white foamy head that dissipates pretty quick. Spider web lacing.
The aroma has some milk/sweet stout qualities but actually allows a nice balancing roastiness to it. Chocolate nibs seem there bringing in that semi-sweet to bitter quality rounding it all out.
The flavor balances extremely nice between the roast and the bitter and the sweet. That lactose is there but doesn’t come across overly sweet.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sipping quality about it. Mild carbonation. Roastiness seems to slide over my tongue.
Overall, an extremely nicely balanced milk/sweet stout that delegates a subtle slickness not usually found in this style.
