Two Lights is an ode to two of the more refreshing drinks of summer: cold beer and sparkling wine. While brewing this beer, we add sauvignon blanc must—the freshly pressed juice of the grapes. Then we ferment it with both lager and champagne yeast to create a tart, crisp, and dry profile. The finished beer’s aromas of pear, grape, and light hops pair with a flavor profile that’s a mix of tropical fruit and the snappy spritz of a freshly picked grape. We suggest sipping Two Lights by a water source too large to see across.

Can at Malmö Crew Christmas tasting at Palace Hall (17/12/2022) - fruity notes of white grape, light to medium body and acidity, sweet but light tart fruity into the finish.

Burk från SB. Gul-guldig med vit krona. Mycket på samma gång här. Druvor och päron med fin fräschör och pigghet från champagne-jästen möter en sötma och tvålighet som inte helt går ihop. Goda smaker i sig, men inte i kombination.

Pale yellow with an enormous soapy white head. Dryish and musty with white wine. Long finish. Medium body.

Burk. En mix av lager och champagne - resultatet liknar nog mest en modern amerikansk saison. Lätt och krispig med tydliga inslag av lime och ananas. Torr avslutning. Oerhört läskande!

Can from Tavour. Pours slightly translucent gold with a moderate white head. Aroma is pear and light malt. Touch of yeast. Med body. Flavor is pear, yeast, light malt and some white grape. Dry. Decently bitter. But Belgian ale? With lager yeast? Hmmmm

Canned 6/23/22, drunk 8/18/22. Lightly cloudy, lemon yellow with light blonde-gold. Small, white head, moderate retention. Dry, fruity, not acidic or punchy pineapple is how the white grape comes off, with the champagne yeast adding some white pepper and such. Pale malts add honey and light white bread, balancing easily, with lingering, lightly tart acidity and strong minerality. Great balance, no punch from the grape. Soft, malty, well-attenuated. Light bread dough and dainty honey with spicy champagne yeast and very restrained grape must adding light tropical fruit. Hints of vanilla and strong minerality. Just an incredibly soft, mild, but flavorful and incredibly drinkable beer.

16 oz. Aroma is yeasty, Sauvignon Blanc grapes, matchsticks, lemon peel, slightly funky, biscuity. Pours hazy pale golden with a one+ finger bleach white head with decent retention. Taste is moderately sweet, faintly tart, faintly bitter; flavors of grapes and saison-esque beer. Foamy mouthfeel.

12 ounce bottle from Beer Run. Hazy very pale yellow, thin foamy white head, fair retention. Aroma of doughy and bready malts, hints of lemon. Kinda bland. Taste is lemon, bready malt, marzipan. Medium bodied, dry, high carbonation. Delicate and kinda boring. Edit: More comes out as it warms. Really warms. Some grape and citrus in the taste, and more aroma. Old score was 2.9.
