This beer pays homage to our stunning Yorkshire heartland, the inspiration behind everything we brew. This pale ale is full-bodied, well-rounded and slightly sweet on the palate. A generous addition of Mount Hood hops late in the boil result in a delicate fruity aroma.

Cask at the Seven Stars, Rugby, 24/07/13. Clear pale golden blonde with a decent white cap. Good lacing ensues. Nose is a little on the thin side, toasted malt, light citrus, vanilla notes. Taste comprises light caramel, citrus, some hop presence, orange pith. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, light bitterness in the finish. Ok GB affair.

Bottle: Nose is banana biscuits. Taste is very sweet, slight cereal, touch of mint, slight lemon. Mouthfeel is reasonably full with touch of lactose finish. Too sweet and tastes of next to nothing.

Hand-pulled pint in Willyโs brew-pub, Cleethorpes: 30 Mar 2013. Pale gold with a pure white head that produced some good lacing. Refreshing feeling to the brew: hops in the aroma, floral mostly. The taste was also leaning towards hops with a bitterness that was noticable but not โin your faceโ; the malt content calmed the hops down somewhat. Easy to drink and pleasing to the eye.

Cask-conditioned at the Portcullis, Clifton, Bristol 20/04/2011. Pale gold with a slight, white head. Lemony aroma with some sweetish malts and a touch of floral hop. Citrus flavours, with some bready malt body and a dryish finish. Good.

Cask at the Rat & Ratchet on 19th February 2011. Pale, straw coloured with thin white head. Grapefruit citrus in aroma and main bodytaste, and a brief scent of soapiness. Very citric lingering aftertaste again - mainly grapefruit; smooth mouthfeel.

Cask at the Euston Tap. Pours clear gold with a sturdy, white head. Light, grassy hops in the nose with faint fruit. Nice flavor, lightly malty with crisp, straw bitterness. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Super clean, mild hop finish with some easy malts. Solid, easy drinking beer.
