16oz can thanks to Ferris pours out dark brown almost black topped with a tan head. Nose is nice big sweet chocolate coffee and vanilla. Tatse is more of the nice chocolate vanilla coffee.

500ml can shared by Ferris. Pleasant chocolate tones, mild coffee. Really smooth on the palate, not sticky or overly sweet...great balance. Pleasant interplay between the chocolate malts and the coffee. Really solid beer, with a refreshingly drinkable body. Most imperial stouts in 2018 really don't do it for me, but I would drink this again in a heartbeat.

RBSG 2018, can courtesy of Ferris, thanks! Dark clear brown color. Aroma of earthy coffee grounds. Taste is also earthy coffee on a dark roast background. Decent. Tasty.

Can: Poured a pitch-black color stout with a large dark brown foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of roasted malt with some floral coffee notes and residua sugar notes is quite pleasant. Taste is a nice mix of roasted malt, light coffee notes with some residual sugar notes and some black chocolate notes. Body is full with oily texture with good carbonation and no apparent alcohol. Very enjoyable even though coffee was not as dominant as expected.

Canette 473ml, gracieuseté de BeerManCam lors du CanBIF Fall 2017, Thanks Cameron! Couleur noire opaque, mousse moka foncée onctueuse laissant une belle dentelle. Arôme de café, un peu vert, malt torréfié, touche de crème, grains de café. Goût de café, malt torréfié, chocolat noir, légère amertume. Carbonatation faible, corps dense.

Can - Dark molasses and dark chocolate with lots of rich coffee notes. Jet brown with a rich light brown head. Insanely rich, viscous and decadent. Creamy dark chocolate, booze and coffee notes in the finish. More creamy and chocolate with coffee notes.

2018-11-30, can, 1 year old, 7-4-8-4-16=39
It seems quite mellow, probably because of the aging; the coffee is mild and blends well with the chocolate. Moderately sweet, low bitterness, some alcohol warmth.
Very good.

Black color with small head. The aroma has more chocolate and less coffee than from tap. Lean body, moderately sweet, but it enhances the chocolate flavor, and the coffee is just delicate, balanced into the final.
Very good.

Black color, small brown head. Wonderful aroma of coffee beans. Medium body strength; the roasted coffee flavor dominates, some booze, missing some complexity and body but it's a good beer.

On tap. Pours black with moderate tan head. Aromas of dark milk chocolate, fresh ground coffee, and thick roasted malts. Flavors of same, predominantly coffee. Not very complex but rich and sweet. I like.

Can. Very dark, bubbly head. Big coffee nose, sweet, alcoholic, sugary coffee, has a rich chocolate note...but not special on that front..ok.
