Can, #848, three weeks after canning. Pours cloudy yellow, with a big creamy head. Aroma is dank hops with tropical notes of mango, passion fruits, gooseberries and citrusy notes of grapefruit and lime, as well as sweet oaty minerals. Creamy body, with soft carbonation. Flavour is dank hops with tropical notes of passion fruits, mango and citrusy notes of grapefruit, lime and oranges, as well as malts with cereals, hay, wheaty spice and oaty minerals. Lingering hoppy minerals in the finish.

440 ml can, as Salikatt Soft Focus New England Double IPA, from Vinmonopolet Stavanger Hinna. ABV is 8.0%. Hazy / murky yellow-ish colour, large to moderate white head. Aroma of citrus, peaches and pineapple, hints of spruce. The flavour has notes of said fruits, pine and spruce, with a certain hop burn and notes of alcohol. Moderate bitterness. .

Jeg holder som de fleste sikkert har lagt merke til, et stødig fokus på produktene fra våre lokale helter. Forventningene er igjen på topp idet jeg spretter denne brukerdosen som jeg ikke har tenkt å dele med andre enn meg selv. Og voi, voi - her er alt på plass; utseende, aroma og en oppløftende, saftig smak i velkjent Salikatt-stil. Trenger jeg å si noe mer?
