Decent enough bitter. A little on the sweetness side, some subdued leafy hops, berries, a lick of caramel malts. Easygoing if simple. Had at the Golden Fleece in the City.

Cask at The Bell, Nottingham: a rather ordinary bitter; taste dominated by the sweetness of the malt, lacking any real bitterness.

[Cask at Oliver Twist, Stockholm] A hazy orange beer with a thin lazing beige head. The aroma is sweet and OK hoppy, combined with light caramel notes. The flavor is sweet malty with primary notes of caramel. The mouthfeel is very smooth.

Amber; fruity character w/some diacetyl; quenching until I get this odd hint of rotting oranges that puts me off.

Sampled cask conditioned. Reddish amber. Fruity aroma. Light body, sparkling mouthfeel. Full of subtle flavours, but yet very drinkable. Low bitterness. Classic is a very suitable name for this excellent bitter.

Few pints mid 90's - mid pp's in and around the Nottingham area, for Forest away trips and whilst visiting my cousin in West Bridgford. Passable bitter but as good as Nottingham could offer ... you really wouldn't expect more.
