Big Bottle share at Craft Islington. Thanks to Matteo. Hazy amber beer, no head. Palate is light and dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Tangy dried fruits. Some apple. Touch of spice. Light dry finish. Obligatory Fantome weirdness! But hard to dislike.

Bottle shared at Craft Beer Co. Islington - cheers! Pours unclear, dark gold with a white, frothy cap. Faint sweat in the nose, citrus, bread. Light sweet flavour with subtly tangy wood, orange peel, toasted grains faint toffee. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. Finishes with further lightly toasted pale grains, citric tang, very faint acetic bite. Fetchingly disjointed. Classic Fantome!

Bottle shared at the CBC big bottle share. 7/7/2016. Many thanks to Matteo for this one. A dark orange coloured pour with a a loose off white head. Aroma is weird woody, onion, hint of vinegar, pencil shavings. Many weird things. Flavour is composed of tangy sour, grainy woody tannin, tangy green apple, spicy, weird. Palate is thin, highish carbonation, drying finish. Astringent grainy finish.

Bottle thanks to Matteo, shared at Craft Islington. It pours murky amber with a thick off-white head. The aroma is earthy, spicy, bitter - sweet, bread, herbal accents, oregano, funk and cheese. The taste is sour, tangy apple, earth, damp leaves, spice, herbal notes, tangy tomato, funk and a touch of acidity. Medium body and moderate foamy carbonation. Pretty odd stuff, as I have come to expect from these guys...

Bottle at RB London Meet. Hazy deep amber color, small off-white head. Wood, fruits, toffee and spices in the nose. Medium-bodied. Fruityness, acidic sourness, hops? Not old skool funky Fantome but acidic sour. Ok. At least interesting.
