Poured from a 750 ml bottle. Aroma has medium light lemon notes with lighter floral esters and hints of stone fruit and yogurt. Light grain notes and hints of rice and alcohol. Faint oak notes. Pours a very clear, brilliant, yellow-gold with a large, thick, frothy, white head that recedes fairly quickly to a small film that lingers for a bit in the edges. Flavor is moderately acidic with hints of grain and rice. Very low bitterness and hints of alcohol. Medium light lemon zip with hints of yogurt and stone fruit. Faint floral esters. Mouthfeel is light bodied and crisp with medium high carbonation. Faint astringency and faint alcohol warmth. Overall, this is a wonderful Berliner. So bright and citrusy with a light, crisp body. Good fermentation characteristics with balanced acidity and esters.

Keg at Ratebeer Best Beer Festival. 31/01/2016. A very light yellow/ green coloured pour with a small white head. Aroma is a bit weird, petrol, grassy, veg. Flavour is composed of light grains, tangy wheat, grain tannin, straw. Palate is grainy, somewhat thin, tangy. Not great.

750 ml. botte. It pours a super light pale yellow color. Almost gray tinged with a fizzy white head that disappears almost immediately. The aroma is pretty funky up front with farts and sulfur. Maybe some hints of rice water, but no lemon or wheat that I usually get from this style. The flavor is very light and seltzer-like with some light bread and funk. Rice water with some hints of lemon. Pretty refreshing, but this definitely seems like an unfinished beer. I guess that’s why they call it the Propagation series. Pretty one note. Disappointing considering the hype surrounding the Blendery. Hopefully they’ll have better beers down the line.
