One-upping the mighty Tsunami Stout is no easy task. To create a beer with even more stout character, our brewers reimagined the fabled Tsunami Stout and created a new Imperial version. Full of rich roasty flavors reminiscent of dark chocolate and espresso, Father of All Tsunamis takes things one step further by aging in Rye whiskey barrels. With layers of spiciness, vanilla and caramel coming from these barrels, Father of All Tsunamis emerges with a richness and balance beyond any stout ever created at Pelican before now.

22oz from ES at Ash's shared with Alex and Andrey. Vintage 2018. Appearance: very dark brown with a beige head. Aroma: tons of whiskey, roasted malt, some booze. Taste: along the same lines, fruity, moderately sweet, lots of barrel character. Overall: good one.

Bottled @ tasting with Caesar and Jerohen. Opaque pitch black color, medium sized off-white head. Aroma and taste are malts, dark malts, some coffee, heavy whiskey, raisins, roasted malts, dark malts. Hmm in the end though something annoys me. Some malty bitter alcoholic touch in there. Solid though.

Bottle - Toffee and some roast notes with cocoa. Jet brown with a small beige head. Chocolate and toffee with some booze and bourbon. Nice and reasonably well balanced.

Bottle. Dark brown, with a bubbly head. There's a nice whisky and brown sugar nose with a touch of chocolate. Soft brown sugar malts, quite a bit of alcohol. Lots of bitterness, some from the alcohol. Sweet chocolate and brown sugar. Nice.

22 oz. bottle, pours black with a small tan head. Nose brings out earthy rye, whiskey barrels, and medium roasted malt. Flavour is decadent, with whiskey barrels, earthy rye, chocolate fudge, and roasted malt. Sludgy, earthy, but very pleasant flavours. Good stuff.
