not much of an aroma, pretty bland, but really no surprise after reading the description. Flavour is very bland with a tough of grain, and cereal flavour, meh, typical honey lager.

Second beer with my meal and better than the first but not by much. Amber with a bit of bubbly off white head. Light caramel and a bit of sugary maybe its honey with some faint earthy hop to counter. Sitting in a restaurant on the French Shore in Newfoundland with country music coming through the speakers overhead and 3 tables around me speaking french is a bit of a culture clash. Drink up the bar is calling.

Draft - Biscuit and light malts. Clear gold with a decent white head. Light honey sweetness and a long honey malty bready finish.

Very light brown colour. Headless. The aroma is like graham cracker and breadcrust. Light body is sweet with vague crackerlike accents. Not cloying like most of its type, and generates reasonable malt flavours but nonetheless fairly bland.

Light brown ale with a cream corny aroma, and sogg cereals. Diluted corn syrup with cardboard taste, and boiled veggies. No body. Drainpour. Thanks to Argo via Capflu, for cleaning the basement sink. (Sept. 2004)

Mmmm. The highlight of the night. . . ."You know you’re in trouble when. . . .you model your beer after a Sleeman product." Anyways, poured from the bottle, it appeared a clear deep urine color with a small fizzy head. Notes of cardboard, old musty caramel and grain. Flavor is bland, like chewing on some old cardboard, has some mineral-like water notes. Finishes on a mildly honeyish note, straining to find flavors and beer resemblance in this one. It does mask the alcohol nicely. . .bubbly palate, light, thin. Plenty more flavorful and fuller examples of the style out there.

This honey brown pours a orange/yellow colour with a white foamy head. Not bad smelling with scents of honey, caramel and malt. First taste was very smooth and sweet. Lots of honey flavour. Slightly roasted malts, and a little watery on the palate. Finishes slightly oily. All in all pretty good.
