Dark brown colour, almost black, with a little cola highlights. The head is big, kind of creamy, warm mocha-coloured, fizzing away slowly and leaving some creamy-foamy lacing. Roasted malt aromas with some sweetness that do come out eventually. Chocolate notes blended with the vanilla and hints of coffee. The taste does not seem as sweet at first, but the lactose kicks in the middle. All nicely balanced with the burnt malts, chocolate, coffee, vanilla and hops. Pretty good !

Vox Populi Vox Stout Milkshake 5.5% 25 IBUs Inky black with a rusty tan head that’s thick and fluffy. The nose is sweet vanilla marshmallows and soft cacao. Medium bodied with a soft texture. The taste is roasty, nutty, vanilla and chocolate. Having it on it’s own means the sweetness starts to get to be a bit much. Where’s my dark chocolate... ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can: Poured a black color stout with a huge brown color head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of light roasted malt notes with some black chocolate and vanilla notes also perceptible. Taste is also a mix of roasted malt notes with vanilla and black chocolate notes with hints of residual sugar notes. Body is full with nice creamy texture with good carbonation. Very enjoyable but I was expecting vanilla notes even more upfront.

Cask at Cask Days. Almost black color. Aroma of earthy cocoa powder. Taste is lightly sweet but earthy chocolate. Tasty.

355ml can (thx, Alex L.!). Pours an almost black with a dark beige head. Aroma is roasted malt, some chocolate and coffee notes. Taste is moderately sweet with lacto, with coffee and chocolate notes. Good stuff.

Nitro au Bières et Saveurs 2017. Couleur noire opaque, mousse moka crémeuse. Arôme de malt torréfié, café froid, cendré. Goût de malt torréfié, café, chocolat noir, un peu cendré, amertume moyenne, léger sucre. Carbonatation faible, corps moyen-dense.
