473ml cans. Clear golden pour, with a medium white head. Musty grain aroma, with hints of apple, and wet paper. Mouth feel is nice, carb is very soft. Finish is musty, wet cereals, no hops. Not good.

Honey and sweet hay malt on the sip. Straight into a pungent leafy bitterness that lingers. Not great.

Clean light beer. Good body for a lager. Not much for hops, but it’s well brewed. Sk LB

On tap in Vancouver. This corporation makes too many pilsners with the same name. Smells a bit vegetably hoppy, minimal head. Okay darker medium gold. Flavour ia middling medium adequateness, nothing wrong but nothing interesting. Drinkable and yet hugely forgettable.

473ml can. Pours a clear pale gold-yellow with a medium, foamy, short lived, white head that laces. Mild aroma of grainy malt and grassy hops. Sweet flavour of bready malt, corn, faint lemon and floral with a dry, mild, bitter grass finish. Light body with a thin, watery texture and average carbonation. Meh.

Canned, half liter. As Big Rock 15th Calgary Underground Festival Czech Style Pilsner at The Globe Cinema, Calgary, while watching a frantic viewing of The Rocky Horror Picture Show during Gay Pride Day (everyone in disguise, adlibbing, singing, having a great time...) Anyway, the beer pour pale golden, clear and bubbly; aroma is honey and bread, period. Taste is dry, fizzy, medium-bodied. Finish is quite bitter and medium-lasting. Not bad, but no very good.

On tap at GKBF. Grainy sweet nose with a dash of honey.  Soft round carbonation. The taste is crackery biscuit & honey sweetness. Surprising good.

Single can from The Beer Store. Pours a golden colour, not filtered to-the-max, with a frothy light yellow cap, decent retention and some mild foam lacing. Grainy nose with the hops giving out some metallic notes. Nope, not a fan of that. Thankfully, the taste is way better. A nice smooth bitterness with a little burnt malt aftertaste. The dryness is mild too. Kind of creamy mouthfeel at first. Overall, still nothing too exciting. Drinkable, but glad I only had to buy one.

Can from Brewery Creek, Vancouver
Blond color, hazy. Some aroma of malt and corn. Dry mouthfeel, a bit cereally and grassy, with very light fruitiness.
Simple but not offensive.
