Pours clear amber from the bottle. The frothy white head soon fades. Mild caramel, white bread aroma. Taste is sweet, a touch nutty, with a very mild bitterness at the finish. Body light to medium. Okay, but forgettable.

Malty and slightly sour lager, overall body is on the watery side. Dark amber with small foamy head, initial sourness in the aroma can be off-putting. Finish is mix of sour and bitter. This one may be a matter of personal taste.

Bottle. Pours an amber color with a small frothy white head leaving sticky lacing along the glass. The aroma is a bready malt and metal. Medium mouuthfeel with a sweet caramel malt. Not too much going on with this one.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a clear copper with a medium off-white head and nice lacing. The aroma is caramel, rye, and sourdough bread. The flavor is bready sweetness, with a very faint bitterness through the middle. The palate is light to medium, and very smooth and creamy. Overall, this beer has an interesting flavor, but is very drinkable and finishes well.

Found this rating sitting in one of my old books. I had gotten this one from my beer club. I was not familiar with the brewer. Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a medium golden color with a small tan head. The aroma was tangy, sour macro lager. The flavor was also generic pale lager, maybe a hint of sweetish malts underneath. Drinkable but had nothing to recommend it.

12oz Bottle, Pours out a clear amber topped with a white head. aroma of sweet malt and a little like a brown ale. Not much on the tast. I can see why it is near the bottom of its style.

Golden-amber colour. Heavy aroma of caramel and fresh malts. Watery body with light malt flavour. Where did those fresh grains go? I wouldn’t have pegged this as a steam beer, though.

I don’t know, I’d just call this one’s taste a mess. The aroma has some citrus to it to me but it doesn’t seem to transfer to the flavour. Never having had this one would not have disappointed me.
