Bottle by way of a trade with minutemat. Cheers! Hazed pale gold. Sturdy egg white foam. Looks well. I know nothing about this yeast strain but overall it comes across like Du Pont with added white pepper wet clay. Further notes of savoury sage like herb. Some overripe lemon. Whiff of sulphur throughout. It ain’t lacking. Taste is semi sweet with a light old citrus peel bitterness. Fair amount of body with soft foam carbonation. Light lemon peel bitterness to finish. Lots going on here.

Monday 25th September 2023, Shrewsbury Gathering in Chez Sophie, 5 blokes and loads of beer. Mat brought this clear 750ml bottle, cheers mate. White head on a misty golden body, it's 'funky' and 'farmhouse' all in one Saison, interesting and pleasant brew.

75cl bottle @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, Sep 23. Procured direct from the brewery. Hazed golden appearance, good white head. Wonderful aroma, farmhouse saison vibes abound, lovely floral sweetness, excellent earthy malt and hop shades.. really satisfying natural saison.
