Keg at BD Shoreditch, 20/08/18. Lightly hazed golden amber with a decent off white cap that dissipates to a swirl. Nose is orange pith, grapefruit, citric peel, straw, toasted grains, grassy, light dank chimes. Taste comprises bitter orane, grass, grapefruit; mango, tangy tropicana, toasted malts, light boost. Medium plus body, fine carbonation, light dankish kiss and vague peppery spice in a semi drying close punctured with juicy hop bitterness.

Brewdog Shoreditch. Keg. Thanks to Cloin for the gen and the train info. Light haze on this gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light, dry and fairly minerally crisp. Smooth malts, sweetish caramel. Good pine but pretty ripe and bruised citrus, kinda goes okay with the caramel malts, definite old school vibe here.

16 ounce can into tulip glass, no can dating. Pours moderately hazy/cloudy golden amber color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of big tangerine, grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, berry, white grape, white wine, lemon/orange zest, light pepper/pine, wheat, cracker, biscuit, light honey, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of fruity/tropical/citrus hops and bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big tangerine, grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, berry, white grape, white wine, lemon/orange zest, light pepper/pine, wheat, cracker, biscuit, light honey, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Mild pine, citrus peel, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, berry, white grape, white wine, lemon/orange zest, pepper, pine, wheat, cracker, biscuit, light honey, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/tropical/citrus hops and bready malt flavors; with an awesome malt/bitterness balance, and zero astringent hop flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from bitterness. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, bready/grainy, fairly sticky, and slightly resinous balanced mouthfeel that is great. Minimal warming alcohol for 8%. Overall this is an excellent DIPA. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/tropical/citrus hops and bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink for the ABV, with the mildly bitter/drying finish. Feels very close to a NE DIPA overall. Balanced juicy, vibrant, and dank hop complexity; balanced malts, with no residual sweetness. A very enjoyable offering and great hop showcase.

Draft pour at Smoke & Barrel, DC. Hazy golden yellow color pour, with a small white head. Aroma was earthy citrus notes. Some woody wine notes. I got some tartness in this, but I don't know if that was intentional or not.

Can drunk 7/6/17.
A deep, ripe, canteloupe orange with brass and copper hues and a moderate haziness, displaying an off-white head atop of moderately-low retention.
Strong melon, red grapefruit, lime and finally the wine and passion fruit from the Nelson, all show through clearly and nicely in the nose. Soft, honey and white bread-like malts underneath with a touch of light cereal and/or dough. It’s "soft" fairly juicy and shows only a touch of pine and grapefruit, given its centennial and simcoe pedigree. Clean and with only light alcohol esters.
Juicy and with a doughy and sweet malt character. Some light blandness but a growing white wine-like flavor that is in turn enveloped by grapefruit and leafy, green, fairly lush pine (low resin). Carbonation is a tad loose, but it’s well-attenuated and the flavors are quite expressive. A touch of cereal/dough that I don’t love and light resin grows somewhat as it warms and breathes.

500mL can, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of piney hops, biscuity malt and some booze. Flavour is fairly boozy, with lots of piney hops, cereal malt and light resins. Flavour is complex, with a wonderful piney and resinous hop character, lightly sweet cereal malt and some alcohol. Nicely balanced, with a finish of hop oils and alcohol. Very good.
