It was a given that when Sierra Nevada and Boneyard join forces to make a beer, youre gonna get some type of an IPA. Together were brewing an intense West Coast-Style Double IPA heavy with the classic hop character that defines both our beers. It features Mosaic, Simcoe, Centennial and Citra hops in ridiculous amounts, sure to please the hopheads within us all.

Tall can. Clear gold with a white head. The aroma is light resiny citrus hops. The flavor is slightly on the sweet side, but there’s plenty of resiny citrus bitterness too. Not a syrupy sweet mess no alcohol in the flavor

Tap at CBB Garden in Osaka. Crystal clear light copper, thin filmy head. Fruity aroma, medium to full bodied with a slightly slick body. The taste is sweet malts and fruits + pine. Alright. 3.5

16 ounce can. Medium gold color has a large frothy white head. Fragrant pine hop nose. Toasted malt flavor is balanced by big citrus fruit hops and spicy pine notes. Lemon, lime and herbal hops. 8.3% ABV is hardly noticeable. Tart, spicy citrus hop finish.

16oz can. I’d guess this one has fallen off some, as it was canned more than two months back. Filtered orange-tan body. Foamy off-white. Pretty straightforward West Coastish IIPA. Dank, oily, resinous hops. Sort of bitter and harsh at first, at least by 2017 standards. Mosaic comes out as it breaths, warms, Simcoe too. Maybe just a pinch too old...a problem with the beercamp 12packs.

Can from 2017 case. Rich, medium golden pour, instant foamy head, fades to cap. Lively carbonation. Beautiful hop aroma, pretty I tense, but the malts are still there, detectable. Taste is a sharp, biting bitterness, as expected. Beautifully crafted to showcase the NW style. Juicy NE IPAs can suck my dick. This is the shit.

Can. A- Pine, orange, hoppy. A- Gold color, clear liquid, white head. T- Pine, bitter, orange. P- Full body, average texture, average carbonation, bitter finish. O- This was as aggressive and bitter as I expected it to be. A bitter beer for a bitter day. Tons of hops and tangerine and citrus notes. I liked this a tad better than I thought I would.

Pour is hazy yellow with a large white head. Aroma is fresh peach and honey malt sweetness. Flavor is piney but mostly it is some full on grapefruit rind bitterness. After that first sip all I am really getting is some fresh grapefruit. Pretty decent impy IPA even after a few months on it.

Draft at Sierra Nevada, Chico. Golden orange pour with a small white head. Heavy hop aroma of citrus and pine, tropical fruits. Flavor is rich with the hops, citra and the citrus/tropical fruit storm. Bitterness is not overwhelming, but flavorful. Very good.
