nice slightly flowery, crisp malty, slightly fruity aroma, flavorful pils aroma, yet still crisp and pilsner like. flavor is slightly flowery, slightly sweet malty and malty, delicate fruity and herbal hoppy bitterness (not weird herbs - hop-herbs). hopping is european. more flavor than expected for 4% beer.

This one is contract brewed at Hawkesbury (!), found at Dan's. I dunno, perhaps it's in a valley? Bottle. Gold, decent white head. Mild grainy and bready aroma with hints of grass. Sweet and vapid with low yet nagging bitterness. Doesn't overdeliver.

23/6/2024. Tap at the Bridge End Inn, Ruabon. Pours clear golden with a small frothy white head. Aroma is grainy, malty, citrus, lime, grass, a little stewed. Medium sweetness, light bitterness and body. Slightly watery, quite fizzy. It’s okay.

330ml bottle from Appleyards Deli, Shrewsbury. Pours clear gold, small white head. Aroma is sweet pale malts, mild lemon. Taste is moderately sweet, grainy, with a light body. Almost no detectable bitterness, with a residual lingering sweetness. Good to see the revamped lager still going strong. For what it is it’s perfectly fine although I think I should’ve chilled it a bit more.

330ml bottle. Clear, pale golden colour, small white head rapidly disappears. Not much of an aroma, sweet malts. Taste is mediocre, sweetish malts, a bit chemically.

Keg @ The Plough, St Asaph. Golden with a thin head. There’s plenty of lager malt so there’s a decent flavour for its style but it’s ordinary in the main.
