A mild haze on this gold beer, good size pale cream colour head and persistent too, unusual these days. Airy palate, semi dry, good fine minerally carbonation. Fluffy pale malts, a modicum of creamy sweetness. Audacia hops on their own! Yaay! Soft cooling pine over soft citrus. The layered floral aspect of this hop a little less obvious and a little less complex than in other beers I've had featuring this hop. But it is there, bright sweet floralness, a little chamomile. Light juicy finish brings a mild bitterness and some red berries which is new on me for this hop. Interesting and quaffable pale ale, a little more hop intensity would be fine with me.

Tap at the brewery taproom bermondsey. A mostly clear golden yellow coloured pour with a fine white head. Aroma is semi sweet, white apple, petal light wheat, light stone fruit, light grains. Flavour is composed of semi crisp, light bready grains, white grape, apple, super crisp, floral notes, lingering grass. Npalate is crisp, light grains, drying finish.

500ml bottle from Westhill Service Station. It pours ever so slightly hazy golden - yellow with a handsome fluffy white head. The aroma is fresh, fragrant, floral, summer meadow, lavender, juniper, pot pourri, grass, mellow fruitiness, touch of berry and biscuit. The taste is crisp, firmly dry, pleasing level of bitterness, fragrant, rather floral, lavender, jasmine, juniper, grass, wood, pine, berry skin and raspberry pip with a drying, fragrant finale. Medium body and moderate, fluffy carbonation. Super interesting floral led hop expression. Interesting and enjoyable.

On tap at Kernel Spa Road taproom, Bermondsey, London. A hazy golden/orange/yellow coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Hoppy, citrus, orange, lemon, tropical fruit taste, aroma is quite similar. Nice easy drinking pale.

Outstanding. So soft and juicy, notes of tangerine, white grape, melon, lemon rind, mild rindy bitterness, a little grass, lean pale bread. Ideal balance. Clean, lightly bitter finish.
