To celebrate the oft-rainy Pacific Northwest, we’ve brewed a New-World India Pale Ales featuring exotic Ella hops loaded with aromas of kiwi and passionfruit. These fresh and zippy hops are nicely balanced by a clean pale malt character. We’ve liberally dry hopped Umbrella to add to its distinct and complex flavor. Enjoyable anytime, rain or shine. 355ml bottle. Clear, yellow-ish, golden colour with average, thick, creamy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, white head. Rather complex and slightly strange, floral, grassy, fruity and piney, hoppy aroma, notes of bamboo, lychee, strawberry, gooseberry, pine, sweet-ish biscuity malty background. Taste is dry, grassy and piney hoppy, hints of lemon, a cautious touch of rosemary, increasing bitterness, minimally chalky and soapy finish.

Botella, @BBF 2017, Barcelona 26/03/17 Color amarillo claro, corona de espuma blanca, aromas intensos a lupulo predominado las notas citricas, el sabor es tambien bastante citrico pero muy agradable y facil de beber, rica.

12 oz bottle. Pours lightly hazy golden, medium creamy white head, good lacing. Aroma is light, citrus, hints of tropical fruit, grassy, melon. Flavor is light sweet, light bitter, grapefruit, grass. Medium light body. Solid and well crafted, not necessarily my favorite hop.

Bottle from QClub at home. Hazy bright orange/yellow pour with frothy white head. Bright tropical fruit and tart berry aroma with some bready malt (not that fresh maybe) and booze. Taste is a bit muddy - again not that fresh - but has nice notes of tart and sweet white grapes, some crisp apple, and bready malt with light booze. Smooth palate. Better than expected and would probably be really good fresh.

Kick 280716. Golden color with a white head. Aroma is fruit, pine, malt, hop. Flavor is fruit, malt, hop.grapefruit, toffee, oranges. Medium to full body. Nice beer.

12 oz bottle from a six pack bought at Super 1. Aroma is citrus rind, citrus flesh, perfume, candied citrus. Pours hazy pale gold with a medium white head that falls into a ring fairly quick, leaving a little lace. Taste starts out candy sweet before turning medium-level bitter; flavors of citrus, alcohol. Perfect mouthfeel. Great stuff.

22 oz bottle poured. Hurting for an IPA all day! Pours a lighter golden color with a thin fizz head. A juicy fruit aroma from a distance. A lighter overall feel for an IPA with potency. A crusher for sure. Balanced soft malt and juicy hops. A short lived bomber here in my household football viewing party of one. Delicious.

Bottle thanks to Daren! Pours w clear light yellow with a white head that lasts throughout the beer. Aroma has light earthy citrus with light grass and a light bready grain. Flavor has lots of earthy citrus with grass and a hay and bread backbone.

Fairly hazy golden and light peach coloured body with a two centimetre tall just off-white head and a nice hazy glow. Aroma of fresh grassy and tropical fruity hops with some subdued alcohol and pine noticeable as well, but the alpha acids seem high in this one. Medium-bodied; Assertive grassy, herbal and tropical fruity hops with some grain, alcohol, herbal and very perfumey hops all coming through this. Aftertaste shows some funk, a little grass, a lot of resin, some tropical fruit sweetness and a lot of dry, assertive piney and herbal hoppiness. Overall, a nice West Coast IPA with more of a defined piney, herbal and especially grassy flavour throughout. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from The Liqour Collection in Honolulu, Hawaii, O’ahu on 23-August-2016 for US$3,50 sampled at home in Washington on 08-October-2016 for rating #5699 - just one more for 5700!

Sample at Bob’s Bar during the "Mike Langley GTFO of Columbus Bottle Share" on 08/29/2016. Hazy orange-gold color with a medium white head that recedes steadily to a film. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus, hops and malt. Medium body with flavors of grapefruit, piney hops and malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a citrusy hops aftertaste. Above average overall.
