Lots of tropical fruit on cloudy bright yellow pour from bottle. Guava etc. Sour bump.

Wild ale base is stronger than the medley of stuff added but where it's light it's nice and refreshingly delish. Yay to no more kettle sours.

Sample during the It's Beignet while, so Parrish the Thought of Deserting Oil of Us for this Road Trip Tasting on 06/26/2021. Hazed golden color with a medium white head that recedes steadily to an outer ring. Stringy lace. Aroma of tropical fruit, coconut and yeast. Medium body with flavors of toasted coconut, tropical fruit, melon and herbal yeast. The finish is fruity yeast and coconuts. Pretty good overall.

Not great, and certainly not a cosmic elixir of lush equatorial flavours. Get real.

375 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 6.8%. Clear (hazy when the yeast is poured in) golden colour, large to moderate white head. Aroma of lime (and other citrus fruits) and mango, only a hint of coconut and oak. Moderately sour and fruity flavour with distinct notes of lime and other citrus fruits, hints of mango, coconut and oak. Nice and refreshing beer.

Was hoping for more complexity, but the citric sourness takes hold and never allows for any deeper fruit flavors to make much of an impression. Sparkly lime juice with tart berry on the periphery, followed by dry oak and vanilla notes with the slightest hint of straw and coconut on the back end. Sourdough fade could use more oak or funk or...something other than yeasty bubbliness. Effervescent texture is nice, but the bretty nose never plays out in the taste. Not bad, but not terribly interesting.
